Hi Jenny,
I paid for my membership but I did’t recieve any info on what to do next. I missed the first teleseminar, but I don’t find it in the archives or how to gain access or where to get the downloads.
Please help
Andria
Hello Andria,
Yes, I noticed your subscription came in around 7pm….I think it was a matter of having to click on the aweber confirmation link to activate the emailed number and details… Don’t panic! Everything is available some time today in the members area. You should have your login details and you can go into membership area and contents and click on what level is relevant to you.
I will be sending out a notification just as soon as the audio is uploaded today.
I also received a note saying I hadn’t attached the handouts! If that’s the case, sincere apologies. There’s so much to get used to with the new site. It’ll all be running like clock work soon! I’ll send the notification out later and you can listen to the whole thing again whenever.
Many thanks for your patience! Hopefully it won’t be tested too often.
Best wishes
Jenny
Andria did I get back to you? You should have received log in details. Just log in and click on membership teleseminars. This should bring up a page with descriptions of teleseminars. Then just click on the relevant grey link above: either guest speakers, or jenny’s training. The handouts are with the audio. I shall be producing more handouts to supplement what I give you on the audio teleseminars so you can get in any time and study. Hope that’s all clear? Email me on jenny@theopenmindtherapist.com if any problems and I’ll get back to you. Best wishes Jenny
Hi Jenny
Just to say how valuable I have found your online Assertiveness Course. There has been so much there for me to work on, both personally and professionally. I believe I have moved on significantly in communicating more honestly and effectively since doing your course and am very pleased that I decided to do it. Thank you for all the work you put into making it such a useful and thought provoking experience.

Thank you very much Celia. Your feedback is much appreciated. Jenny

Hi Jenny, that book I mentioned is ‘Bad Pharma’ by Ben Goldacre (2012) [How drug companies mislead doctors and harm patients]
Also a good read are any books by Dr Phil Hammond: ‘Medicine Balls’ ‘Trust Me I’m (still) a Doctor’ etc. [True and funny accounts of NHS medicine]. He has a great sense of humour!

Hi Jenny,
I just had to write and tell you that your experiences resonated so much with me. I am not a therapist yet but I am studying hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling and have always found the mind and people’s behaviours, health, nutrition and spirituality fascinating and how they connect.
I am on my own journey and know I am ‘crossing over’ and slowly my being is shifting.
I have a sense of knowing when people around me have concerns or are at unease and although i have always had a heightened sense of awareness from a very young age, now that I am older I don’t feel the need to identify or conform with any one or anything.
Life is becoming easier and flowing more and I know I am on the right path, as a ‘non’ therapist can I join?
Thank you for your insights.
Regards
Rachel John
Yes! Of course you can. In fact, it’s the best time for you to do so, so that I can support and coach you through the first steps of your practice. I’ll email you.
In case you don’t read comments on the blogs – I found your website while listening to a groovy astronomer on facebook. You were one of the sponsoreds I think, or was it a recommended for me? lol
Anyway, I liked the picture of the blue people in the circle and since I have recently qualified as a Yoga teacher and held my first class, I suddenly realised that I was in a position of leadership and feeling a bit lost with that, your website came in very handy. I finished up on the dyslexia page where I made the comment below. I have in fact just had the open door. I have just been offered a role in management. (I am an internal accountant) I haven’t got the time right now to go further with you, but I will be back later (in June). Just thought I would feedback. I know how valuable feedback can be.
“I have directional dyslexia. I recognise low self-esteem and I recognise the ability to “feel-with” and engage on sentient level, but I have spent years defending myself against this, retreating further and further into my tower. It’s why I don’t cut my hair. The Prince is coming for Rapunzel (dislike that name though).
To cut the point, I am academic also (an accountant even – left brain). Directional Dyslexia doesn’t hold you back from achieving through language, it just makes you appear like an idiot, actually a fully active right brain, not quite in sync with the left!
So thanks for posting this information. It made me feel good about myself. yes I remember the “Daredevil”, gutsy little girl from school. Where did she go? Perhaps we could resurrect her at one of your workshops?
I have recently suffered yet another rejection (redundancy). I go through jobs like I go through hot dinners, never holding one for longer than a year, so funds are compromised, but I will probably be back on my feet by July. Another door always opens. I hope to see you then …………………….”
I’ve answered you privately.
Thank you for the timely tips!
