Healing the earth needs healed men and women

Since ever I can first remember, I have been surrounded by men falling in love with me. It’s been both a blessing and a curse. Throughout my teens, on the run from an uncomfortable disharmony in my family, I fell into the arms of anyone who would have me believing in my life somewhere that I was worth nothing more. I had a pretty face. I was slim. And I was lost.

The inherent conflict of the feminist message

I rebelled. I didn’t like this dependency, this vulnerability around men. I studied feminist literature which berated men’s dominance over feminine expression and I grew a new duality around men. If I was in a relationship I was weak, if I was alone I was strong. Of course, I was always in conflict with that belief because I was often in a relationship. And the ‘relationship’ squeezed all the life out of me until I saw no option but to break away. I subsumed my character, my very being, to enter into ‘relationship’ with someone else. I was angry. It was unjust. Why did I have to sacrifice me for them?

Over the years, I’ve grown and matured. I’ve had many ‘relationships’ and even more ‘liaisons’. All of them, without exception until these last few weeks, have left me wanting, empty, uncomfortable with me, seeking, yearning, always wishing I could have more. More of what? More love? More affection? More commitment? More sex? More attention?

Being a guide means having crossed the terrain ahead of others

I’ve sat with all of those things I thought I wanted. I’ve done ‘the work’. I’ve seen the transparency of what it is I thought I needed to be happy. I’ve nursed myself. I’ve sat with my pain. And I’ve reached places of acceptance and clarity so that I can continue to live my life in my highest reality. It’s from this point of clarity, that has been my lifetime’s journey to travel, that I can help and inspire others to their sense of clarity, charting through the tough terrain of life’s vicissitudes and carving out a path of their own. If I didn’t know that terrain, then I couldn’t be a guide for anyone else.

Waking up to my true mission

DSC_1788However, even in the last few weeks, I have reached a new place of deep inner peace, acceptance and beauty. I have seen exactly who I am and what I am here for. There is a surreal acceptance of my purpose here that I had been running from before. There was a sadness that I couldn’t have what every one else seemed to have. And now I realise, it’s not my mission nor purpose to have what others have. My mission is to help people wake up. And in particular to help men wake up to the wonder and beauty of women and learn to truly honour and respect the limitless power of women – the feminine power of mother earth. The power to create and to destroy. The untamed and wild energy of the feminine, stunning, raw, exuberant, alive, dangerous, sexual, seductive. I don’t just understand now with my head but feel deeply just why women have been suppressed and held back for so long by the fearful, uninitiated, overwhelmed masculine.

In fear, the immature, uninitiated masculine has attempted to manage and control the feminine. He has denied his own unpredictable and wild feminine nature and used his physical and intellectual strength to sublimate mother earth and bend her to his will. In fear, he has degraded her, desecrated her, violated her and raped her to assuage his own anxiety. And she has acquiesced. Because she is so wild and the masculine is so directional, she has been unable to respond cohesively to his focussed intent. And just like me in my life, when she has been able to take suffering no more, she has rebelled in a furious and terrifying ‘act of nature’, throwing off her tormentors and seeking to be seen.

I’ve just walked into my house to make a cup of tea and as I wandered around I noticed, almost as if for the first time, that I have collected pictures of beautiful women to hang on my wall. I have been most drawn to the beauty of women but in the past, too embarrassed to display them all. It felt somehow narcissistic, homosexual – those kinds of statements that society only allows artists and self identified free thinkers to make. Not someone like me. As I paced around my house, almost frantic in the knowledge that I have to keep doing and developing this work, tears have welled up through my eyes and fallen down my face in sheer recognition of the beauty that I have to share.

I owe a debt of gratitude to someone who has sought me out to invite me into a tantric dance with them. Who, overwhelmed by his own spiritual awakening has been seeking feminine wisdom and guidance and has awakened in me a knowledge as to how I can best channel my power. I need the masculine to channel my power. But I need the initiated masculine. The mature. The accepting masculine to help heal mother earth of her pain. And I need to help those who are initiated or are going through the process. Together we can help heal our mother earth.

What is the initiated male?

spiritual man signedThis question was asked of me just the other day. The initiated male is someone who has given up the hold of childhood over him. He accepts his past. He is honouring of woman. He is awake to her power. He treasures her. He does not feel diminished by her. He protects her without controlling. He holds her in highest regard. He accepts his own gifts and talents as a man. He is strong. He is a leader. But he also recognises that without the power of woman he is impotent, hollow, a clanging cymbal. He listens to her wisdom. And he metabolises it for the world. He is directional. It is important that he keeps those qualities of leadership of purpose. And all this process of initiation is a result of his confronting his own mortality. Of seeing the transient nature of life and realising that we only have this moment, this world, this experience. All else is fantasy.

This masculine and feminine power is not necessarily gender specific. Each of us holds the masculine and feminine inside of us. It is the integration of the two, the acceptance and respect for the other that is essential to our awakening.

And yet, it is through this masculine energy, this sense of focus, that the ancient power of the feminine can be celebrated and brought to the fore, healing the planet and transforming suffering into joy. We need men who are strong and mature enough to help this happen. And we need these men to help nurture and heal women. That is my mission. To support my beautiful sisters and to show men how to inspire, nurture and support them too.

Who does my life belong to?

Awake goddessI am transitioning very fast these last few weeks. It feels I have given up the need to possess. And my life does not belong to me. I am being lived. I am a channel for the earth to heal. I can sense who is ready to do this profound work and who is not. My nakedness is not only physical but spiritual. I am awake. I am ready to show men how to develop their connection with women. How to help us heal. How to channel our power.

And the power I have found from my work with my spiritual empath is phenomenal. It surges forth from the very earth itself, firing up through my body, into my hands and into the universe. My hands hold the most intense fire as the sexual energy of mother earth surges through my core. My spiritual empath helps me focus that energy. It is this focus of energy that has given me intense peace and purpose. It has revealed to me my inherent beauty as a woman. No thing and no body can remove that from me. Now I am ready to work with men. To not surrender my identity or sacrifice who I am. To be able to select those who I know and sense are ready to meet me on a level, who are bravely doing their work and clearing their fear, and to teach them the ancient art of the communion of the masculine and feminine.

While the fear mechanism is hugely beneficial to you at various times in your life, guiding you to be cautious so as not to be physically and often mentally and emotionally hurt, what do you do when it appears to be running your life on autopilot? The tell tale signs of unconcious fears may manifest in you feeling hindered developing new interests, stuck in your unfulfilling career and maybe tolerating an unhappy and unfulfilling relationship.  What do you do when your fear is subtly holding you prisoner? Even beyond your conscious mind?

Have you done a good job at convincing yourself you are fine?

Most of us, so as not to feel the fear all of the time, convince ourselves that we have long since dealt with our childhood fears and that we now feel fine. The problem is, the evidence of your life may point towards the complete opposite. While you are busy maintaining you are now fearless, u could also simultaneously, be living a lie in your relationship, working in a job that bores you, or struggling to make a go at motivating yourself in self employment. You are safe in what you know even though it is highly unsatisfactory.  It provides a certain level of predictability.  And it maintains itself through fear – the fear of change and uncertainty.

Use your fear as fuel for growth

If we could use fear as our fuel for growth – and I can assure you we are unlikely to run out of fuel – then we could be renewing and celebrating our lives a lot more honestly. We could breathe new life into our homes, our work, our family and our relationships. We could challenge what we used to think was true  and embrace new ideas, develop new friendships, new interests, new ways of working and enjoy the journey towards a greater level of self awareness and inner peace. Our freedom comes from taking responsibility for our future and for our happiness. If you are unhappy about your life, bored, anxious or fed up with where you are, then only you can change it. It might look like it’s someone else’s fault, but it is you who has the final say over how you run your life.

Are you ready to clear the fear?

The only ingredient you need now is courage. Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the ability to confront and overcome your fear.  And I would love to be part of your journey in you taking that responsibility for your happiness..

My Clear the Fear workshop is a beautiful collaboration between you and me, an opportunity for me to help you, in the safety of a small group of other like minded souls, tease out your blocks and fears, embody them, negotiate with them, and then gain a more deeply confident and peaceful perspective.  Confronting your unconscious fears and giving yourself a chance will set in motion all manner of support to enable you to continue to grow and explore your deeper layers of self. AND you can always come to any of the future workshops to continue your development, as every single one is created uniquely by your amazing stories, the inspired chemistry in the room, and me your Director as I seek for the diamond inside, underneath all the layers of compacted fear you thought you needed to stay safe.

3 Day Residential

Since having been invited to lead this workshop in Sardinia on a 5 day retreat I thought I would launch my own 3 day intensive in the UK. I’ll be seeking a venue for October this year, slightly off the beaten track, where we can relax and work on our stuff to our heart’s content. You will feel uplifted, lighter and more inspired to return to your life with a heightened personal awareness, clear focus and an excitement that you thought was reserved for children! If you know of a venue that would accommodate a dozen or so where we could relax and perhaps do some group cooking (!) in a kind of farmhouse venue, let me know.
I can bring this Clear the Fear  workshop to you. Email me and let’s have a chat and see what we can set up.

Do you fear being rejected?

I discuss one of the most painful and debilitating fears that many people experience: the fear of being rejected. If this fear was once upon a time important for us to stay attached to the safety of the collective, why do we still harbour these seemingly needless anxieties? See what the antidote is.

How your environment reflects your deepest fears

I have moved house 26 times in 30 years. I have been in my current house 8 years. So some of my moves were only months. What fear was I running away from? In this blog I talk about how our fears manifest our outer reality and that we have a duty, especially as leaders of personal development, to clear them and lead by example.

There was more than one element to my healing from schizophrenia which I’ll talk about in separate videos. But here is an explanation of just one of the facets to that journey back into our consensus reality. And it was about addressing my fear and learning to trust me.

How do you clear the fear?

I’ll be talking over the next few days about how fear manifests in our lives and what kinds of problems it causes. I’ll also be talking about the insights and awarenesses you need to nurture to allow fear to dissolve and become more fully present and more fully alive.

Here’s video number 1

My Business Mentor’s a Gem!

I’ve been working with Holistic Business Mentor, Kimberley Lovell now since November and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. My biggest challenge is getting focussed and organised and Kimberley is helping me do just that. So last week I was really privileged to be interviewed by her on my progress so far. It’s been an exciting white knuckle ride of growth and expansion and I am thrilled to be able to share with you the transcript of the call. Sadly the call recording was very poor but we have salvaged a transcript from it. Click on the link below to download the PDF.

Transform Your Business Training Call With Kimberley Lovell Jenny Lynn(1)

One of the most difficult things to get right is the ways in which we attract our ideal clients to us, especially as therapists. I’m guilty myself at times of not being able to see the wood for the trees, of not valuing effectively what I’m offering, not seeing the uniqueness of my approach, and not feeling comfortable standing out. The irony is of course, if I don’t stand out, no one will see me.

Here’s the problem

As I’ve been promoting my psychodrama workshops, I forget that many people won’t understand the term ‘psychodrama’.  As a result, I think my psychodrama workshops are scaring people! I think they see the term and they imagine they’ll be running around pretending to be teapots or the sun and doing some of that hammed up acting that you used to hate in school! You know the stuff I mean?

The truth is the way I do Psychodrama is nothing like this. It is an amazing process of gentle but highly insightful personal development. And whatsmore, on my psychodrama days, I don’t only use psychodrama. I use meditation, 5 rhythmns dance, movement, breathing, art work, gestalt and visualisation.  So is it right to call it psychodrama?

Can you help?

If you know what it is or have experienced one of my workshops, I’d like to invite you to get your creative juices flowing about what to call it. This is especially for those who have already taken part in them. Tell you what – just submit your comment below and let’s get this thing rolling! Yes, you can make bizarre suggestions if you want though anything offensive I won’t allow through. Have a bit of fun with it. You never know what might come of a stray suggestion.

A few ideas

A couple of my colleagues who work similarly call their workshops names such as: ‘transforming shadows’ and ‘when the body speaks, listen’. No two people produce the same courses. When you buy one of these courses, you are buying the person and the way they do their best work. The system is almost a seamless part of the trainer’s own flair and style.  What I’d love you to do is to give me some idea what to call the workshops. And for the winner, after a bit of discussion with you below, can have my 4 hour masterclass Assertiveness and confidence product as a gift. You can then gift or sell this to your clients! Or better still, a complimentary half hour session with me for me to offer you the same reflection and insight into your practice.  Now that’s an offer for just a few minutes of your time.  Deal?

Matt interviewed me on Tuesday 18th February 2014 about my work in Chronic Fatigue. Sign up for my preview call now which takes place on 6th March at 5pm GMT in the box below! I’m looking forward to sharing more with you. Or better still, if you need no more convincing, go straight over to the resources tab and click on 5 step audio ogramme!

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is such a polarising condition and is spectacularly mystifying for mainstream medicine. The mind and the body have become divorced over many decades of scientific enquiry, and we have become enchanted and indoctrinated by medical science’s status and authority over those years.  And this is to the point where, we almost dare not challenge them.

But this is exactly what I’ll be doing on my preview call Wednesday 6th March at 9am western and 5pm gmt. I’ll be exploring the inherent problem that divorcing the mind from the body has caused in this mystery condition and sharing with you an introduction to my 5 step Open Mind Method Audio Course for treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I’ve had several dozen patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome referred to me by medical doctors over the last 11-12 years. My first one came for pure relaxation and stress relief and was quite adamant that I would not be one of many who had tried in vain to treat her ME. I was grateful there was no pressure because I didn’t have a clue what ME was. But I owe her a debt of gratitude as she helped me to help her and many others. As I work very deeply and transpersonally, she unconsciously revealed to me what was causing her this mental, emotional, physical and spiritual shut down. And over the course of a few months we worked together to create profound relief for her. Then of course, the doctors went on to refer many more of their patients to me.

I researched and explored until I understood what was going on in as many different patients as possible. I then started training my colleagues. The rest, as they say, is history.

On this call, I’ll be taking a risk and talking about what kind of profound psychological traps sufferers get caught up in once they have developed CFS.  I’ll look at some of the deeper, even spiritual, causes, and I’ll outline the 5 steps that I teach on my Audio course so that you can develop the confidence to know where to start with each of your clients that present with CFS.

Here are some facts, as modern medicine identifies them, I researched from the quoted websites as detailed below:

  • CFS/ME affects more than 1 million ( people in the US and over 300,000 in the UK. Some estimates take the figure even higher to 4 million in the US (
  • A study in Wichita, Kansas showed on average the illness lasts 7 years.
  • CFS is 5 times more common than AIDS, twice as common as MS ( and more common than lung cancer
  • White Caucasian women are 4 times more likely than men to develop CFS/ME.

These statistics are quite alarming, especially when mainstream medicine still really doesn’t have much insight into the mind-body phenomenon, nor the spiritual wisdom, that could really offer so much solace and inspiration for people to recover.

The training I am offering digs really deep into the psyche of those with CFS – one of the most challenging modern illnesses to treat – and equips you with a highly insightful overview of what is going on with the Mind/Body dilemma. It then offers a method of reaching into the hearts and minds of those with CFS to help them regain their livelihoods and wellbeing. And, if you can do it with those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, believe me, you can see in to the internal conflicts that cause far lesser conditions.

And if you were thinking of niche-ing in this speciality, as yet, there are still a growing number of people developing this condition. They will need YOU to offer them the inspiration to help them recover. In return, you will get the satisfaction of knowing that your work is profoundly affecting lives for the positive, where most medical approaches fail.

I can’t wait to share with you a few tips and insights to get you started and to invite you to join me on my 6 week audio training in the 5 Step method for treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome! Sign up below for the call details.
